Interesting that you listen to Jack Rothstein. One of the things that amazes me is how often old people or their family members call in to complain about a stock pick that went bad, and he says, "well, I told people to get out of that stock a long time ago." I feel sorry for the old people that buy stocks based on his recommendations, and don't realize that he's not a buy-and-hold investor. As for picking stocks that will go up, if all you do is pick what is going up now and extrapolate, that's not hard, is it? For the record, CobaltBlue picks five stocks that will go up for the short term: Rambus, QCOM, JDSU, RBAK, and ELN. These five stocks will close higher in five days than they closed today or double the money you paid for these picks back.
