Me too, busy!! that is.....don't know if it's because the world is going so fast that all of us can't breathe, and are working more hours than we ever did....OR we just ask more of ourselves, and volunteer for more, OR what....
We KNOW that it's a busy, wild environment when the fax machine became really "the thing to have" about 1987 or so...(some had it earlier, but for the most part, that's about the time frame...) and today (13 years later), it is becoming obsolete....Email is taking over, with scanners...
And because we think the computer is to save us time, we all think that " OH BOY", we'll have time to do "that" and "that"..... so end up more and more frantic...
Saw a guy in the elevator yesterday....got in, down 22 floors, and he looked the whole time like he was in a sprint position, with one foot in front of the other, and ready to leap out of the door when it opened....I said something about "in a hurry, eh?"....he looked at me, saw me (probably for the first time....) and started to laugh....he didn't think that it was that obvious that he had 3 15 min things each to do in a total of 10 minutes.....LOL! See what our body language tells everyone....
Know just how that guy felt....I'm getting ready to move my office this month, in addition to being away for 5 days to a State Conference.....and GNET meeting....plus try to do some business in the meantime.......
Re: Seattle and the Annual Meeting.....We WILL have a good time, of that I'm sure....Roger is going to try to put together a thing or two.....but he too has been super busy....But whatever we do, I know will be fun....sure wish you and everyone could come....
Re Maxfield Parrish.....he was an art noveau painter....don't know much about him, except I've liked most of the things I've seen of his.... here's a couple of others..... KLP imagenetion.com
