The little advertisement at the bottom of this message should disabuse even the most fanatical internut that the advertising model generates sufficient revenue to run a free web-site. The page you are reading already had 8 or 9 ads on it. Yet Go2Net feels that it is necessary to put a tagline at the end of the very messages that we post, with full knowledge that it is going to annoy many of the users of this site. That is an act of desperation. I believe that within a year, many of the websites we use will disappear because of insufficient revenue. Or at least become shadows of their former self. So let's enjoy this website while it still exists. It may not be here much longer.
