TP, your post proves that you haven't been around Texas very long. Republicanism began here in 1960, and some of us almost feared for our lives because of the threats we received. We were thrown out of polling places until we could contact the Attorney General and make him uphold the election laws permitting poll watchers. That was the beginning of the rise to power of LBJ, and that rise, with the corresponding illegal and immoral actions of that hypocrite, turned the tide toward the Republicans. The pitiful record of Democrat administrations since that time has caused the Republican party to continue to grow because it has provided the only conservative voice in the state. Study your Texas history a bit closer. In other words, engage brain before operating mouth. ~H~
