From what I understand he's had a positive impact on the Texas school system. Which I see as a Governor's primary responsibility. But why don't you ask the people of Texas who voted overwhelmingly for him a second term?

Not that I agree with you, but education in and of itself, is not the end-all-to be-all determination when selecting a leader. After all, Bill Clinton was supposedly well educated. It didn't mean a hill of beans when it came to the attributes of leadership. George W. appears intelligent and educated on par with the Presidents of the past.

If you really want to see a wasted education, all you have to do is take a close look at Al Gore.
