You comment that I was mistaken on 2/28 to think that there was only a 15% of further upside at the time.

Using a 4 year price change series, you're probably right. But stocks trade at the margin and recent prices are always more significant than antediluvian prices. I use a month's worth of prices and basic probability theory as a very rough guide to overbought or oversold conditions. Combined with the company fundamentals, I find the suggestions of probability helpful, though by no means cut in stone. For example, after yesterday's runup, there was less than a 1% probability of further upside yet MU opened up today, carryover enthusiasm from yesterday's runup.
