Right, except the time premium would be gone at the time of exercise. There would be a bit left if the stock exploded well before then (like this situation :) ) - although I am not a hyperbull only a cautious bull - thus I am covered writing the calls against my stock. Hopefully the stock will be over 2.70 by May 16 for this to work out for me.
