Speaking of Rambus, did anybody notice the crossover that took place yesterday, if not earlier? RMBS is now worth more than AMD, $6.86g vs. $5.96g at the moment. Which shows, I don't know, I guess it's better to have an IP company consisting primarily of a fragile, expensive, bleeding edge design that Intel's intent on shoving down everybody's throats than to have a couple state of the art fabs and a processor design on a par with Intel's best offerings. Beats me, the magic of markets and all that.
Meanwhile, brushwud, wonder if you could comment on this article on Rambus production problems? It's from usenet, so I certainly wouldn't take it that seriously, but them RIMMs are still mighty darn expensive, at least from all visible offerings on hardware sites on the internet. x28.deja.com
