Think about this, from the WIND conference call today.
They talked about the challenges of managing a TRILLION connected devices in the coming years. They plan to be the glue that connects all of these smart devices.
EE Times calls them the "600 pound gorilla" of the embedded systems industry".

i tried to post this earlier today...did i inadvertantly pm it? or forget to submit it? (did that before)

when i read your post last night, i stayed up and read much about wind. appreciate your insistence. i was most impressed with the number of design wins.

i bought wind at the open.

will continue to do dd. for the moment my main thought is that virtually every electrical device seems to be headed towards being micro processor controlled. if that is true and wind is the primary os, you have really found something.

i would like to know more about the competition. perhaps you could illuminate that?? is wind the clear winner or should we play a basket is what i am getting at.
