Barbara? I typically wouldn't respond publicly to such a post but I will just to once again set the record straight. Although I did not expect to see COMS at 100 I never discounted the fact that investor exhuberance would drive this stock to new highs - solely because of the IPO - which is why I'm long. And, make no mistake - that's why we're here - no other reason - in fact the company has performed to the contrary. To be clear my "discussions" were directed only at the mis-information regarding the underlying real potential of the company given historical success (or lack thereof); not to be confused with the stock price - they are two different things in this case. I was correct about performance last quarter and it remains to be seen whether I'll be correct again this quarter. That said, the stock price is wonderful...and I'm quite thankful... don't confuse this with my feelings for the company. If you go back and read my posts they were directed at COMS ability to execute - not stock prices.... Just to re-iterate - they are two different things. the PALM IPO is a major windfall and I'm quite happy about it. So please don't get wound up about what I've said. I should go on to point out that just about every analyst worth their weight hold similar opinions to my own. However, it's your own choice to set your own destiny and do your own dd. The fact is there is only one reason this stock is up and it has nothing to do with what Mehradad, Mang, Captian Jack or anything that anyone said on this thread.. it has to do with the speculation for the spin-off... AND WE ALL AGREE that this would be a win for us or we wouldn't all be long. Going forward you would serve yourself well to look deeper into the company yourself rather than relying on posts here - and continue to gamble with mentor. The point: If you're going to base your investment decisions on what is said on this thread ... you've got other issues you need to deal with. OG
