Joe and Art,

Joe, I'm afraid I must take responsibility for predicting 100 before the end of the year. Appears as though I was a tad conservative.

Art, could I impose on your expertise to give me a short course on when companies split their stocks? I assume that the principal reason for splitting a stock is to allow more investors to buy in, as it's hard to buy a stock selling at three or four hundred dollars a share.

But some companies allow their shares to reach such dizzying heights, while others seem to split repeatedly after they reach a certain number. Do you think it likely that SanDisk will split again when it passes 100? Thanks for any guidance.

Jim
