PALO ALTO, Calif., and WEST KINGSTON, R.I., April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HWP) and American Power Conversion (APC)(Nasdaq: APCC) today announced the signing of a contract that will provide ongoing warranty support for HP's installed base of HP PowerWise uninterruptible power supply (UPS) customers. Effective May 1, APC will provide UPS products and offer power-protection solutions for HP PowerWise customers' future UPS installations. HP, which will no longer produce, supply or support HP PowerWise products, still Produces other power-related products as part of its complete computational solutions.
