INFOWAVE AND NOKIA SIGN WAP DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT AND ANNOUNCE BUNDLING OF
INFOWAVE WIRELESS SOFTWARE WITH THE NOKIA ARTUSE MAX PLATFORM

Value Added Service Cooperation Agreement enables the companies to bring new
WAP services to market and taps Nokia's extensive sales and marketing
organization

New Orleans, LA, March 1, 2000 - Infowave Software, Inc. (TSE:IW) today
announced at the CTIA Wireless 2000 tradeshow that it has it has signed a
Value Added Service Cooperation Agreement with Nokia Networks, the
infrastructure arm of Nokia (NYSE:NOK), for the development of Wireless
Application Protocol (WAP(tm)) applications. Infowave and Nokia will work
together to develop and market wireless applications for Nokia's WAP-enabled
mobile terminals as well as the Nokia Artuse Messaging Platform and Nokia
Artuse MAX Platform. Infowave has also joined the Nokia Artuse Developers
Program.

Under the terms of the agreement, Nokia will bundle Infowave's new WAP
server product along with their Artuse MAX Platform as an extension
application feature. Infowave's WAP application enables mobile users to
seamlessly access their Microsoft© Exchange© messaging and collaboration
server from any WAP-enabled device. The product provides real-time access to
email, contacts, calendar and task lists using a phone or any other device
with a WAP browser. The Nokia Artuse MAX enables the deployment and delivery
of WAP content and services. This agreement enables Nokia to offer
Infowave's wireless computing software to carriers and organizations
requiring mobile access via a wireless device to Microsoft Exchange.
