andy, i did as u requested and called avanex...i spoke with the VP of corporate investing and investor relations and he viewed ur posts on SI and he said(and i quote) that u were "full of crap"!!!!!...he said "he doesnt know what he is talking about" and essentially called u a "whacko"!!!!...he said that CMI Corp. in China currently supplies approx. 5% of the parts for them and that they themselves make and assemble the rest!...what is ur hidden motive here?...if u spent half the energy trying to learn more about the sector rather than bashing this company, u would be up another 200%...also, he stated that they are currently selling mostly 200GHz products(industry standard) but they are testing 100,50 and 25 GHz products and have lab qualified down to 12.5GHz...btw, he spoke perfect english(much better than ur english when u post...lol)...andy, when u short this stock, please let the thread know when u do it and when u cover ok?...i'd be curious to know how well u fared...this is my last post to u...u have wasted enough of my time. mact
