Barring news I will be staying out of this one.

The money is better invested in ALSC or GBT. Near as I can tell, HDTV has no institutional supporters.

Given the enormous potential, there will be plenty of time to get into HDTV down the road. Riding HDTV from $12 to $30 isn't as good as riding it from $8 to $30, but it's good enough.
