I've tried that before (owning parent companies), but never worked well.

I tried it with ZD and ZDZ and it worked out reasonably well but nothing to write home about. 'Course ZDZ was a tracking stock. It's generally a way to hedge your bets a little with the parent company offering a little more stability but less upside potential. In this case, who knows? With the impending spinning, it throws a little more unknown into the mix.

But being the fiscal conservative that I am I'll go for the Price/Sales of ~1 instead of ~8 in hopes that the value will adjust. We'll see. In the long run it should work out for the both of us, although I doubt we'll see a 20 point pop in THI <gg>
