That's a great story JDN! And I sensed the same sort of thing from him recently during a town hall meeting here in Washington State.

You know how most famous people give a speech and then sort of shake a few hands and walk away? Well, I was pleasantly surprised to see George W spent an amazing amount of time after the meeting shaking nearly every persons hand in the room and greeting them. It must have taken 45 minutes to an hour. But he stayed and must have met every person who wanted to meet him that night.

There was a sincere genuineness about the man. He didn't seem to be doing it because he was supposed to it in order to win a campaign. He seemed like he was just being himself, meeting people from Washington State and enjoying the whole experience.

It was nice to read your story because I could relate. Thanks for chiming into the thread.

Michael
