As a rule of thumb it is not advisable for company insiders of any type to participate on chat forums. The regulatory authorities frown on it and anything put in writing has a legal liability attached. Speaking with someone at a booth is different as there is nothing in writing that can be used against the company in the future. Lawyers should review any written statements prior to being published.
