Hey, Hammy! Pro Forma NR

The following NR will obviously be posted by Canada Stockwatch and others shortly. It's the one several folk have anticipated due to Wednesday's action.

I'm sending it to you russett because the enclosure, the international comparison of mining environments, confirms exactly what you said in your post, about Quebec.

Both here, SI, and at StockHouse, there seems to be overall glee and excitement. A lot of people having made good profits with yesterday's price; and a lot going Clap! Clap! Clap! for the long haul.

On the threshold of the PDAC, cheers and cheezwizzes to the hamster and all, GSM

Hi George:

You asked me to let you know if there is any news. Here is a news release I just issued. It is self-explanatory.

No Material Change

March 1, 2000 -- As requested by the Canadian Venture Exchange, the company reports there is no material change in the company's affairs. Marum is actively exploring its mineral properties.

FOR FURTHER INFORMATION: etc...

This is a routine request by the exchange following an active day. Contrary to popular belief I was not hiding from the phone as one of you jokers suggested, but I appreciated the humour. For the record, surveillance called in the morning and about 30 minutes before the close they called and requested a news release before the open tomorrow. If they can't get to a company official in such a case, say within a few minutes, they will halt trading. Thought you would like to know.

We are active in two great jurisdictions, Alberta and Quebec. There has been some thread commentary on Quebec as a place to be. I have worked there all my life, off and on, and its a great place for mineral exploration. But, don't take my word, read the news release at the following link and follow it through to the full report.
fraserinstitute.ca

Should be an interesting time in Toronto next week. Apart from the chance to catch up on news and technology, we have a number of Torngat related meetings scheduled to discuss the targeting information at hand and the timing of the exploration program.

I probably won't be able to answer any questions for a couple of weeks.

Best Regards, Rick Boulay

you can post this if you want to.
