Struthers, Inc. Forms Alliance with A-B Duroc of Minnesota

CHARLESTON, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 2, 2000--Struthers Inc.
(OTC BB: STRU) and its subsidiary, Legred Struthers Genetics Inc. have
announced a 4,000 head swineherd alliance, with A-B Duroc of Southern
Minnesota which is projected to generate $3 million in gross revenues.
With the addition of this alliance and other alliances currently
under negotiation Struthers is on pace to meet or exceed their current
projection of 150,000 alliance sows within the next eighteen months,
which represents over 3,750,000 market hogs."
A-B Duroc has entered into an agreement for Struthers gilts and
semen to add to their current base of sows. The Minnesota herd will be
used for the production of Struthers' TenDurChoice(TM) brand-label
pork. This facility will meet all Struthers' Certified standards, from
nursery to finished operation.
Producer alliance herds must follow strict Struthers' health
protocols, whereas boars, sows, gilts and finished swine are never fed
animal protein in their growth diet and great care is taken against
the introduction of any harmful chemicals and unnecessary antibiotic
