Aquiline expands PGM property holdings in the River Valley area near Sudbury

TORONTO, ONTARIO--Aquiline Resources Inc. is pleased to announce
that it has acquired 2 further claim blocks in the River Valley
area near Sudbury. The blocks, totaling 27 units are located in
Dana and Pardo Townships and are contiguous to the property held
by the Pacific North West Capital ("PFN")/Amplats joint venture.
According to a PFN news release of Feb 16, 2000 drilling will be
underway shortly on their Dana Lake discovery which is located
within 1,000 feet of the common boundary.

The claims are being acquired from an individual and terms of the
acquisition call for Aquiline to pay $20,000 in cash, issue 50,000
common shares, and leave the vendor with a retained 3% NSR. The
deal is subject to CDNX approval.

The acquisition of this property expands Aquiline's already
significant holdings in the River Valley area, which include the
property that adjoin the southern end of the PFN/Amplats JV.
Aquiline plans further PGM related acquisitions in effort to
become one of the leading junior exploration companies focused on
the search for new commercial sources of these metals, which are
in high demand for their use in electronic and automotive catalyst
applications.
