All the more reason to pool what limited knowledge we have. Someone, for example, must have been at one of the recent Internet2 workshops that Gilder alludes to and seen or heard something. I did an AltaVista search and saw the hiring stuff too.

This thread can also be a place to track competitive developments like the LU system.
