LC, Can I place an order before market open? If using CyBerX you can place orders post and pre-market only if they are on NASDAQ securities. When placing NYSE (listed) orders via CyBerX, they must be placed during market hours. However, we do anticipate post and pre-market order capability for listed securities some time in the second quarter of this year. This will become available as ECN's role out their listed securities trading capabilities. If an option in your case, you may wish to consider CyBerTrader 2.1, which does currently allow traders to place orders pre-market for both listed and unlisted issues.
