Neocon, Did you catch GW on Letterman last night? He was quite good, responded to Dave's barbed questions with good humor and passed up a couple chances to slam McCain. He did fall flat with the joking response to a question about what he meant about being a unifier. Said he would unify/stitch Dave's chest back together instead of opening/dividing it, a reference to Letterman's recent bypass operation. The audience growned and so did I. Bush did not seem to be scripted, acted as if the questions were not given to him beforehand unlike Hillary's obviously scripted performance.
