I have constructed a sythetic short (long put, short call) at 48 1/4. I have been unable to borrow shares at Schwab for months, but am switching the account over to Brown, who led me to believe that shares will become available there. When my options expire in May, I am hoping to convert into a straight short position. At people here have mentioned, as soon as they have to start fessing up to declines in subscribers, they are doomed, because I think that that is that only thing that has sustained the stock. The question is when such a revelation will materialize. All I know is that they are going gangbusters with the mailings.
