John, The Triniti Family has been charcterized form high power and low power operation. The CMM1321 operates at 28.5dBm with typically 400mA and at 13 dBm or below at 50mA, meeting the CDMA ACP mask. This allows for both enhanced current efficiency ( not just at the max output power). As you have previously said the Triniti DX Family (so named because the driver PA is included) has sufficient gain and AGC range to negate the use of a driver amplifier, however if a broadband driver is required further back in the dual band chain they can use the CMM2308/9/10 at a significantly lower cost and smaller size.
