Gore wants 8 more years of the same kind of prosperity that we have enjoyed. So are you saying you also wish to keep the Republicans in control of the House and Senate, if you use this logic regarding prosperity? Where does the American businessman get his due credit? I've never known a government that created wealth. I've heard that a President has little control of economic conditions. And I've also heard that it takes many years for the economic trend to take hold, i.e., the rewards we are reaping are a result of the Reagan/Bush years. Someone please help me understand this phenomena.
