LA Internet Selects Sun Microsystems

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Mar 2, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- LA Internet, a wholly
owned subsidiary of Internet Business's International Inc. (OTC
BB:IBUI)(www.ibui.net), Thursday announced that it has begun upgrading its
facilities with the latest Enterprise(TM) server computers from Sun Microsystems
(Nasdaq:SUNW).

"We examined all available alternatives," said IBUI chief executive officer Al
Reda. "In the key aspects of security of security, reliability and
expandability, the Sun offerings have the others beat cold."

Server computers are essential elements of an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
The Sun Enterprise(TM) servers to be used by LA Internet feature Sun's own
UltraSPARC(TM)-II, an extra-high performance 64-bit processor which handles data
in segments twice the size of 32-bit processors such as the Pentium(TM) made by
Intel.

"Probably the biggest factor tipping the scales in Sun's favor is
expandability," continued Reda. "With the Enterprise(TM) servers we can scale up
to meet any conceivable current need, and I trust in (Sun CEO and chairman)
Scott McNealy's vision to provide us with the solutions we'll need far, far into
the future."

Sun Microsystems Inc. (www.sun.com) of Palo Alto, Calif., is a leading maker of
UNIX-based servers, storage devices, and workstations. Sun is the largest to
make computers using its own chips (SPARC) and operating systems (Solaris).

Internet Business's International (www.ibui.net) of Newport Beach is a
diversified Internet-based business, offering nationwide Internet connection and
hosting services through its LA Internet subsidiary as well as operating a
number of e-commerce Web sites in a wide range of Internet market segments.
