Bob my thoughts:

NN ALA weak because market is weak.CSCO down @ this time.
NT up fractionally.LU up a little after tanking 2 monthsÿ
ago, GG! No big deal.

I think that if ALA started buying NN at the market ,ÿ
it would become obvious and the price would go up rapidly.
Not much to gain.Alternatively , a few million here or thereÿ
makes no big difference when you are that big.
Or, they are too big, or too busy to worry about this.
As far as planning and business plans, I think it is too early.
The deal was just announced.
It would not be prudent for them to show the competition their
hand when the bird, NN, is not in the hand yet.

I think that ALA is going to go big in telco.ÿ
They got the people, 120000.ÿ
LU only 31000, CSCO 21000, NT 75000.
With NNs guidance they will be big.ÿ
I think the bigger problem with ALA right now is how to getÿ
TM to work for the company. To be fully on board
so to speak. I think that is what they are trying to work out.
TM has the vision and technology. Tchuruk too.
Together they will fly.ÿ
But we have to straighten this technological issue first.

With ALA 's cashflow and management ability the rest,
the business plan formulation ( TM + Serge T. )
and implementation ( by ALA management ),will beÿ
a breeze IMHO,

Paris closed unchanged. Was up but then Wall Street made mistake of opening.ÿ
I have no idea why ALA is not in there buying NN shares at a discount in open
ÿmarket. Very foolish financial engineering on their part not to take advantage of
the ridiculous spread, and lower the amount of dilution required to close the deal.
ÿYou know this company, Steve, and I wonder if you ever got the impression thatÿ
upper management is a bit on the dull side.
