I wish CPQ can learn from what LU did for its share holders. The stock got punished for a very short period, but was able bring back the core investors back in LU with a 'real' strategy to restore share holder's value, to restore company's profitability. CPQ is getting the message out, but in a peculiar way. The perception is that we're cheer-leading rather than quarter-backing. Quick "Go CPQ" "GO CPQ" is helping get a $1-2.00 spikes, but not helping the stock, company to boost investors confidence. I see this Q1 being one of the most critical quarter in CPQ's recent history. The CFO will play big role in delivering the message of bringing CPQ to profitability. MC has to play a better role in 'unambiguously' articulating company's direction, be confident about growth rate, be confident about setting the expectations and even more confident about meeting/exceeding those expectations. Concerned CPQ investor, confident CPQ employee!!! -Nilesh. IMHO.
