So glad you enjoyed Texas and the folk here. IMO Texans are very friendly and engaging folk. Have lived here since the early '70's having moved from Cocoa Beach, FL. Your comments regarding the Bush family seem to be valid. They are a wholesome, and DECENT family, IMO, from all indications. I've met daddy Bush at a Republican/Mexican fundraiser. He showed up, gratis, and had his picture taken with attendees. At the Bush Presidential Library, I was very touched upon learning the Pres. enlisted in the military by lying about his age so he could serve his country.
