Pisani also made another incredible statement that common sense tells me is ridiculous. Perhaps someone can clarify?

He said that at $33 the power utilities would switch from burning oil to coal. He also said all the "professionals" knew this.

A plant that can burn liquid oil or solid coal? Power generation folks tell me coal is a cheaper fuel than NG, and I know NG costs about half as much as oil, so how can Pisani be right? Do any plants even burn oil anymore?

I hear CNBC told him to keep his opinions to himself and just report the facts. Something about no one caring what he thinks. If true it wouldn't surprise me in the least.
