Hi Sally. Quite bullish for one who has been with this co since 97. On a related note, today's Financial Times, p.16 carried an article on Ares-Serono. 1999 net income boost of 62%. Will be changing co name to Serono. Article states that the co has an estimated 60% of the infertility market. Sales of its Gonal-F drug increased by 42% in prior year. Its Rebif is claimed to be the fastest growing drug in the treatment of MS and Serostim gaining in the treatment of AIDS. According to the article, Serono is often rumored to be a takeover target (currently controlled by the Bertarelli family). COB sounds like a nice fit and in any event the relationship is, I believe, beneficial. PR-wise COB is far too quiet - what else is new. I'm content to sit and watch.
