Good afternoon. I talked with an asst. geologist at Starfield at length today, addressing both the intest and the reservations folks have shown.
He said at this point, it would probably be more fruitful and less problematic to refrain from having IR folks answer questions. His main interst is to discuss the plans for the drilling campaign, and help with general questions about what results might mean, mine viability and to give us all enough information so if someone starts bad-mouthing the company, we can go directly to a source for answers.
He said the company is well aware of the potential for anything posted to be considered a company release of information, and said that's one reason they wanted to field the questions late in the week, and compile answers over the weekend. Also, as people will be coming and going from the drill site, it will give them additional time to update as needed.
He also said, any serious question will be answered, even if they can only say "we can't answer that right now" or "Who knows?"
Soooo...if y'all have no objections, they can start fielding questions next Wednesday and Thursday. Until some better setup comes along, I'd suggest opening the question like so:
QUESTION FOR STARFIELD:
blah-blah-blah......
That way the company folks can go straight to the questions without delay.
Any other suggestions are welcome ... I sure don't claim to be an expert at this sort of thing.

PS: I'd also suggest that one of the first questions be, "Does this sort of exchange violate any securities rules?" That should resolve that question quickly. |
