This launch is mindboggling.

Either the new mask/fab rev is yielding several speed grades higher or they just committed hari-kiri.

If they launch the 850/866/933 with decent volumes and limited 1Ghz then this will be good news for intel.

Seems to me they are calling AMDs bluff on yields and speed grades.

I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they have seen some real improvements.
