To Nilesh;

Don't take this personally, but I feel compelled to respond to your defense of MC. Let me address your post point by point. First, I will assume that he is honest and with integrity. I have no reason to know for sure and so I will give him the benefit of the doubt. Do you know him personally or are you, like me, merely giving him the benefit of the doubt? I agree, that compared to the E-fools he's done a real good job (but only when compared to the e-fools performance during their last 18 months).
I won't argue with your second paragraph. As to the third paragraph you state "he's focused on energizing the company, customers and the industry w/ his message". So what? Every ceo does that. More importantly, I want to see him give a message to the analyst and fund community that will energize them to upgrade and buy cpq. I would feel better to see specifics and results. Time will tell.
As to your fourth paragraph - no comment. As to your fifth paragraph I say - prove it. If you know something the rest of us don't please share it. As to your sixth paragraph - I agree in part but fault him for not raising the price. As to your 7th paragraph - you're wrong. Cpq was over 25 when mc got the job.
