To all ignorants and Johny come lates:

1. Company already has stated it will have about 1.5 PALM for about each COMS.

2. There is legal restrictions that you cannot dilute the stocks just like that. Do you know how many institutions and
individuals will sue EB and the company if such an intentional dilution is to take place? They are not as stupid as the Street is now to have this kind of flip-flops.

3. This irrational arbitrage will disappear soon. The worst case scenario is 30 days since PALM IPO date. Once stock is available for shorting by common Joes this imbalance will give away. But this disparity may persist for another two weeks to kill all higher priced March options to expire worthless or PALM options are available (as per press it will be from March 16th, and hence for Months starting April.) So I think the earliest time frame for this disparity to disappear is March 20th.

4. Efficient market theory is a total bull shit. It has never been and it is myth perpetuated by some higher IQ morons to keep lower IQ morons in a self-satisfied state. That theory will never hold true as long as the stock price can be
dramatically altered within a few minutes (thanks to day traders, short-term position traders, swing traders and MM manipulation) and for long term by shorts. Some may argue short term noise should be discounted. But that is another irrelevant argument. Of late, short-tram trading crowd is slowly diluting the
iron-glad controlability of MM and institutions. On top of that stocks are getting valued based on vague and undefinable terms such as "perception" and "growth potential".

4. We will have a mid way meeting point of PALM coming down a bit and COMS catching up.

It is amazing that given all these-- Edger, Company Web sites, repeated postings on this thread and elsewhere-- lazy bums keep asking silly questions. People, do some home work before you ask a question.
