Let's all remember that the reason we joined SI in the first place (and some of us paid real money to join) was to improve our investing/trading experience.

In Calander 2000 I'm up 100% (I could have been up more if I'd sold some losers and re-invested the money in winners). I don't know exactly how I did it (or I'd be writing a book) but I do know that a large part of it was by reading SI threads and then by following the "winners" as opposed the the "Pumpers & Dumpers".

I would gladly pay $ 1000 per year, if everyone else had to pay $ 1000 per year, as this would get rid of most of the "Pumpers & Dumpers".

SI is slow at sometimes, but its always faster than my CDN broker. To-day, it took 50 minutes to get a market order filled!!!.

A thread on SI (with a few new posts) almost always has some new insights on the company or the market action--and I can view them 10 posts at a time.

A thread on RB (with 100's would you believe 1000's of new posts) is filled this posts such as "Go XYZ" and there's no option to review multiple posts.

There are a couple of RB threads that I read because they've dried up here on SI (ADOT is an example). But for most, I just look at the # of new messages to get an indication of stock interest.

Yours truly,

Brian Diggle
P.S. Remember, that the money you pay for "information on your potential trade" is a tiny fraction of the money you're betting on your actual trade.
