From WSJ: Is the market telling us those other 3Com businesses are worth a negative $62 a share? No, I think the market is saying that there is uncertainty about 1) the valuation of PALM six months from now (if in six months PALM trades below IPO price, then COMS will not be worth more than it is trading for today), and 2) whether 3COM will actually distribute PALM then (or ever). I am confident that these uncertainties can be discounted making this a great buying opportunity for COMS.
