In past few months I got burned on preventing losses and realizing gains [appx. $25k] because e-turd was down and I could not place my buy and sell orders. Had same problem as you, called 800 line and it's always busy. A month ago I called and e-mailed e-turd to complain and of course they never got back to me. Maybe they ought to be sued like AOL was, for signing up too may people without the equipment to handle the volume. I'm getting rid of them too. And, did you know that e-trade posted $45 million income last year from their Market Makers? Change their name to e-bandits. I went to Tradecast, where so far my trades go through in 5 to 15 seconds! Oh, in case you are wondering, I am not affiliated with Tradecast. I'm just a pissed off lawyer in San Francisco.
