It was their greatest desire for every investor in the free world to dismiss or question the value of gold & every mine to close prior to the next run. Can you imagine picking up AU for not $24-30 a share, but rather at a few pennies? Can you even guess at buying (the currently larger than before) ABX,NEM, & HM at bankruptcy prices without anything going to the holders of common stock? This was the goal.
