Dear Kevin,

I recall someone speculating about VRTS:SEG a few months ago but do not recall who made the posting. It could very well have been you.

The reasons you give in your posting seem sound to me, actually make a lot of sense.

In his reply to your posting, where he agrees with you, Stitch states that, "As usual I think Cramer was dismissive and cavalier [about the idea of VRTS taking out SEG]."

Going a step farther, I was annoyed when I read Cramer's dismissive comment, actually wondered whether _he_ wanted to start a rumor so that he could then have fuel for another article. When people talk about "rumors" but are unwilling (or unable) to give the source(s) of the rumor, I think, "This person is making it up him/herself." Going with Cramer's SEG rumor, maybe he read what you wrote a few months ago, Kevin, and transformed what you said from opinion to rumor.

Guess you can tell I do not think much of Cramer :)

Regards,

Lynn
