A look at the the PALM IPO. Went to $160 yesterday and settled at $95 the low of the day. A big ouch if one bought at the high. What's it worth. From Hoovers. COMS at $80 has Mkt. Cap. (Mil) $ 27,623.13 RIMM Mktcap is 8.9M Palm Rev in Nov99 quarter was 258M RIMM rev for Q3 was 23M The only thing that bothers mw is the post offering share amount. If all sold at $95 the PALM marketcap is $55B. If sold at $38 it was worth a 22B cap. The math doesn't seem right and I'll have to dig some more. Jack
