I'm not making up the "dreamfish". Probable active principle is bufotenine, just like the famous toad Bufo alvarius. I have it on excellent authority that bufotenine is indeed psychedelic, tho' not near as nice as those volunteer Stropharia on the gift of the cow.
Galt thread is more like anticholinergics (atropine, jimsonweed): guaran-F-teed bad ride, lite(TM) on reality.
