if at 95 bucks, the market cap of all PALM is 53 billion, then I think PALM in 6 months will definitely trade less than 40 bucks ... like a 23 billion market cap ... There's nothing wrong with your logic. The result you give (PALM trading below 40) depends on the hottest IPO ever cooling off to its "intrinsic" value over the next six months. In view of the market caps of the other "hot" techs, even those without earnings, I don't see that happening.
