One of the Yahoo posters also put this statement by Niles up this morning. I don't think it's fresh news, because I've heard him say it before, but maybe it adds to the theory that some, at least, are beginning to believe in the long range Compaq strategy. I have to admit though, I agree that missing by .04 this quarter would be surprising. I want to look up Capellas's statements, because I also thought he was comfortable with the quarter, as well as the year. It looks like DLJ feels that if they come in on target for the year, and next year looks so good, this quarter's earnings don't matter all that much.
