I guess because I'd heard this before, I slid right over it. I shouldn't have. I believe these results are being repeated by other vendors and that we'll see more press on comparisons over the next month or so. You'll recall the MCI trial director was interviewed by one of the engineering magazines months ago when the Iowa trials were underway and he said the only modem that worked perfectly was the one provided by NEC/Australia running at 6Mbps --- Amati's Overture 8.
