12 psx2 games! You're right, that certainly is a lot of development $$. Let's hope this thing kicks a$$.

Did you see this from the IBD interview:

IBD: Have there been games that you thought were high quality that didn't catch on?

Kotick: Sure. We had a product this past Christmas called Battle Zone 2. Battle Zone 2 is a great product. What we tried to do was resuscitate an old arcade brand and bring that concept into the 21st century. But we overengineered it. The product was too complicated to play. Even though it was probably the highest rated game we've ever had in terms of magazine reviews, it just didn't have that popular appeal.


Another pc title for the 10 best that nobody played list. I can't believe it. I don't know whether it is bad luck, bad marketing, bad decision-making? No doubt these are quality games. Games are just too expensive. People who buy pc games are unwilling to take chances on unproven franchises.
