JRI, RE: EMC weak Yes, it looks like the big techs, with the exception of MSFT and maybe ORCL, are not all that popular today. Money is going into the small cap techs and the "old economy" stocks. Actually I think it's healthy to see the rally broadening, especially to the financials. It will eventually build a healthy base for further gains. Much better than a correction <g>. John
