RE: If I Could

If I could build a house, I'd make the foundation of CSCO and INTC, earthquake proof. The roof would be QCOM, protecting me from typhoons and ice storms. The front door would be JDSU, ominous, yet like a welcome beacon in the night. The wiring would be high-end ELON and the walls CREE. The floors would be solid WIND and GMST. The formal spiral staircase leading to the upper, more private and luxurious rooms would be handcrafted by NTAP. The large bay window overlooking the Sound would be a BRCM custom job, but all the others from AMCC and PMCS.

I'd furnish my house with state-of-the-art collector pieces from BRCD, XTND, RFMD and a few from XLA and TERN. Occasionally, old friends would come and go. I'd surely make new ones, but some would drift away or like PSFT and SAP, get dropped cold. Nonetheless, I'm warm hearted and would always keep a spare room and a candle lit for MSFT, in case he couldn't make it home and needed a place to rest.

My front yard would be simple, not attracting attention. In the back I'd plant a few trees from XYBR, CNXT, TERN, TUTS and maybe even PALM. With water and proper care, they might provide some shade.

This wouldn't be a flashy house, just comfortable and safe for my young family to grow.

If I could, I would.
